Tentunya, apabila dibandingkan dengan game-game zaman sekarang ini, permainan yang hanya dapat dimainkan menggunakan konsol, game watch atau juga mesin ding-dong (atari) sangat jauh perbedaannya.

Mulai dari grafis, pola permainan, alur sampai dengan mesinnya juga sangat jadul dan mungkin tidak banyak anak atau orang sekarang ini yang pernah bahkan mengetahui bahwa game itu pernah ada dan populer di zamannya.

Memang, rata-rata game-game era 90-an lebih banyak dan didominasi oleh yang bertemakan petualangan, namun ada pula yang bertemakan olahraga sampai dengan arcade.
